AFL Schools’ Member Program

AFL Schools’ Members are enthusiastic teachers and staff who commit to actively and positively promoting our great game in their school. They engage with their local clubs to encourage students to participate in Australian Rules Football both at school and outside of school.

The program was launched in 2004 by the Minister for Education and Director General at Subiaco Oval as the AFL School Ambassador Program. This program has been rebranded for 2023 as the AFL Schools’ Member Program.

More than 1000 WA teachers have been inducted into the program to date.

AFL Schools’ Membership is free and available to all teachers, principals, administration and support staff. It allows access to exclusive AFL Schools initiatives and opportunities, which will be communicated to members via a once per term newsletter.

  • AFL Schools Tipping Competition
