Falcons Nest – 12s Academy
The Falcons Nest – 12s Academy will leverage the full resources of the West Perth Football Club, from experienced coaches to cutting-edge training facilities, creating an environment focused on both individual skill refinement and game sense development. With a heavy emphasis on nurturing core football skills, tactical understanding, and game awareness, the program is expected to set a new benchmark in youth football training.
This program will run once a fortnight, over 12 months – only breaking for school holidays.
Talent Development Pathway
This initiative is the beginning of an expanded talent pathway for the club, positioning West Perth as a leader in football development in Western Australia. As part of the club’s strategy for 2025 and beyond, the Falcons Nest – 12s Academy will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing future stars of the game. By investing in youth at the grassroots level, the club aims to build a strong pipeline of homegrown talent that will drive future success.
For each year, this program will run TRIALS in DECEMBER to help ascertain which players should make this programs’ final 40. This program will also act as a FEEDER PROGRAM to our clubs new 13s Academy.

Through this program, West Perth is not only reinforcing its commitment to talent development but also ensuring it remains at the forefront of football excellence in the state.
