Since joining the Club from local junior side Edgewater-Woodvale JFC, his impact has been outstanding. He was named the “Rising Star” in 2012 and, in just his second year of League football, claimed his first Breckler Medal in 2013 (sharing the honour with Andrew Strijk) while also playing a key role in that year’s Premiership win. To date, he has secured four Breckler Medals (2013, 2014, 2017, and 2020), finished Runner-up in 2018, and achieved two additional top-five finishes in 2012 and 2021. Shane has also proudly represented Western Australia in State football on five occasions (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019).
Stay tuned as we are finalising the details of the Shane Neslon Testimonal Function which will take place after the game!
