West Perth went from last in 1974 to Premiers in 1975 under new coach Graham Campbell.

The biggest GF winning margin and the largest crowd of 52,322.

Everyone played their role with Mel Whinnen, winning the Simpson medal.

Barry Day kicking 7 goals in the last quarter, Alan Watling having 34 disposals and kicking 5 goals.

Goals: Day 8, Watling 5, Knell 4, Smeath 4, Wilson, Hillier.
