West Perth Begins Search for Next WAFL League Coach

The West Perth Football Club has begun the process of recruiting its next WAFL League Coach. West Perth Football Club has established a selection panel of both internal
and external people to guide the recruitment of the Club’s next Senior WAFL Coach.

– Jon Haines (Executive Manager Football Operations and Strategy WA Footy)

Jon Haines holds a master's degree in Organisational Leadership (Monash University), Graduate Certificate in Business (University of Notre Dame Australia), and a Bachelor of 
Education/Human Movement (Edith Cowan University WA). 

His professional experience includes General Manager Football Operations, Gold Coast Suns; Executive Manager 
Football Operations, WA Football Commission; General Manager Football Operations and General Manager Strategy and Development, North Melbourne Football Club; 
High Performance Manager, WA Football Commission)

– Brad Wira (WA Footy Commissioner and former AFL player )  

Brad holds a Bachelor of Business degree (Management) from Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Before joining Shadforth Financial Group in 2001, 
Brad was known to many people as a professional Australian Football League (AFL) player for Fremantle Football Club and the Western Bulldogs where he played a combined total of 96 games.

He also played 122 games for Claremont in the WAFL and represented Western Australia on three occasions. During his 17-year tenure at Shadforth and continuing the sporting theme, 
albeit from a different perspective, Brad has formed a considerable niche within the AFL through his role as the joint servicing adviser to the AFLPA and AFL Industry Superannuation Fund.
