Aaron Black 14s Academy

The West Perth Football Club is thrilled to unveil the Aaron Black 14s Academy, formerly known as the 14s Development Squad. Named in honor of Aaron Black, a premiership player, premiership captain, and club legend with 269 games of experience, this program is set to inspire the next generation of football talent. Honouring Black’s leadership and contributions, the academy introduces young players to the people, culture, and ethos that make West Perth Football Club great.

The Aaron Black 14s Academy will deliver a well-rounded program that balances game development, skill acquisition, and personal growth. Players will hone their football skills while being immersed in the values and traditions of the club, preparing them for the challenges ahead both on and off the field.

The program will culminate in competitive matches against other WAFL clubs during the September/October school holidays, offering participants a chance to showcase their development and measure their progress in a competitive environment. This academy is a vital part of West Perth’s talent pathway, ensuring the club continues to cultivate future stars while celebrating the legacy of its current greats.
