Falcons Nest - 13s Academy

West Perth Football Club is excited to announce the launch of its expanded Falcons Nest - 13s Academy, a cutting-edge initiative designed to foster the growth of young football talent while keeping them engaged with their junior clubs. This academy builds upon the club's commitment to elite player development by offering a comprehensive, year-long program aimed at U13 players.

Running once a fortnight, the Falcons Nest - 13s Academy provides participants with elite-level skill acquisition coaching, alongside introductions to strength and conditioning programs and gym education. This dual focus ensures that young players not only refine their on-field abilities but also gain the physical and fitness foundations necessary for long-term success in the sport.

A key aspect of the program is its collaborative approach, acting as a 'partner in development' with junior clubs. By supporting young athletes while they remain with their local teams, West Perth ensures that players continue to grow within their community, avoiding early specialization while receiving the additional training they need.

The Falcons Nest - 13s Academy will also serve as a crucial stepping stone for the club’s talent identification process, helping select players for the 14s Academy in the future. This initiative reflects West Perth Football Club’s long-term vision of nurturing homegrown talent and setting a new standard for football development in Western Australia.
