SATELLITE ACADEMY (14s/15s)

West Perth Football Club is proud to introduce the Satellite Academy for 2025, a WAFL-first initiative designed to support young footballers who develop at different rates or face challenges during their initial trials for the 14s and 15s Academies. Recognizing that every player’s journey is unique, the Satellite Academy provides an opportunity for those who may have missed out on selection due to injury, skill gaps, or late physical and mental development.

This 12-month program will offer intensive skill development and strength and conditioning support, allowing players to work on specific growth areas that may have affected their chances in earlier trials. The Satellite Academy gives them the time and resources they need to continue their progression and mature as athletes.

At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to re-trial for the 14s or 15s Academies, equipped with the skills and confidence to showcase their potential. By offering a second chance, West Perth ensures that no talent slips through the cracks and that every young player is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
