West Perth Football Club is delighted to announce the return of Athletic Institute as the Club’s Strength & Conditioning and High Performance provider for 2027, supporting our men’s, women’s and talent pathway programs.
The appointment reunites the Falcons with a trusted partner whose previous seven-year involvement, spanning 2018 to 2024, included the Club’s memorable 2022 League premiership.
Athletic Institute returns with a strong understanding of West Perth and a shared commitment to providing outstanding athlete preparation, care and development. Their expertise will help equip our footballers for the demands of competition while building the physical foundations that underpin long-term improvement.
West Perth Interim CEO Luke Richardson said the appointment represented an exciting investment in the Club’s people and football future.
“We want every player who walks through our doors to have access to excellent coaching, preparation and support. Bringing Athletic Institute back to West Perth is an important step in delivering on that commitment,” Richardson said.
“They are high-quality operators who know our Club, understand our expectations and care deeply about the athletes they work with. We have shared some special moments together, including our 2022 premiership, and we’re excited about what we can build together next.”
The partnership will support athletes across different ages and stages of development, connecting the preparation of our emerging talent with the demands of senior football.
Richardson said the breadth of Athletic Institute’s involvement was particularly significant.
“This is an investment across our football Club. From young players entering our talent pathway to our senior men and women, we want to create an environment where athletes are supported, challenged and given every opportunity to improve,” he said.
“High standards are built through consistent daily habits. Athletic Institute will play an important role in helping our players establish those habits and prepare with confidence.”
Athletic Institute Managing Director Corey Green said the team was proud to renew its relationship with the Falcons.
“West Perth holds a special place for Athletic Institute. We built strong relationships across seven years at the Club, and being part of the 2022 premiership journey remains a proud chapter in our history,” Green said.
“We’re delighted to return and look forward to working closely with the players, coaches and staff to deliver a high standard of strength and conditioning and high performance support.”
Green said the focus would be on understanding each program’s needs and helping every athlete progress.
“Our aim is to help athletes become stronger, more resilient and better prepared for the demands of their football. That starts with understanding the individual, building trust and delivering purposeful programs consistently,” he said.
“There is a great opportunity to make a positive contribution across the men’s, women’s and talent pathways. We’re excited to get to work and help the next generation of Falcons take their next step.”
West Perth Football Club warmly welcomes Corey and the Athletic Institute team back to the Falcons family as preparations build towards the 2027 season.
