West Perth Football Club is proud to announce a major new partnership with Auto Masters Joondalup, securing a long-term commitment as Naming Rights Partner of the Falcons Nest Academies while bringing exciting new benefits to Falcons members and players.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the Club’s youngest talent pathway programs, which will now proudly be known as:
- The Auto Masters Joondalup Falcons Nest 12s Academy
- The Auto Masters Joondalup Falcons Nest 13s Academy
Bringing together two organisations with strong local connections, the agreement represents a shared commitment to young people, their families and the future of football in our community.
The benefits will also extend well beyond the academy programs, with Auto Masters Joondalup preparing to offer exclusive deals and discounts for Falcons members and players.
These offers will give the Falcons community another valuable reason to support a local business that is investing directly in their club. Further details, including how members and players can access these benefits, will be shared as the partnership gets underway.
At the heart of the agreement are Auto Masters Joondalup owners Tim and Debbie Herron—down-to-earth, family-oriented people whose connection to the local area makes this a particularly meaningful addition to the Falcons family.
For Tim and Debbie, partnering with West Perth presented an opportunity to support young footballers while building a lasting relationship with the wider Club community.
“We’re local people, we value family and community, and we wanted to get behind something that reflects those things,” Tim and Debbie said.
“What stood out to us was the Club’s commitment to giving young people a great experience—helping them improve their football, build confidence, form friendships and feel part of something special.
“We also want the wider Falcons family to benefit from this partnership. We’re looking forward to offering some fantastic deals and discounts for members and players, welcoming them into our business and looking after them.
“We’re really proud to put the Auto Masters Joondalup name alongside the Falcons Nest Academies and support the Club for many years to come.”
The Falcons Nest 12s and 13s Academies provide an important introduction to West Perth’s talent pathway, helping young players develop their fundamentals, build positive training habits and strengthen their connection to the Club.
This long-term backing will give West Perth greater confidence to plan, innovate and continue developing the academy experience, supporting an environment where young footballers are encouraged, challenged and given opportunities to grow.
West Perth Football Club Interim CEO Luke Richardson said the partnership was a significant endorsement of the Club’s vision for junior development.
“This is a huge partnership for our football club and a meaningful investment in the next generation of Falcons,” Richardson said.
“Collaboration at our talent academy level is essential to our ability to keep innovating, improve what we deliver and lead the WAFL in setting a new standard for helping young people fulfil their potential in football.
“Having Auto Masters Joondalup alongside us for the long term gives us greater confidence to build on that ambition and continue creating programs that our players and families are proud to be part of.”
Richardson said Auto Masters Joondalup’s commitment to providing benefits for members and players added another exciting dimension to the agreement.
“What makes this partnership particularly exciting is that Tim and Debbie want to embrace the whole Falcons community,” he said.
“Their willingness to provide exclusive offers and discounts for our members and players creates real, practical value for the people who support and represent our club.
“It’s a terrific example of how a strong local partnership can work: a business backs our young people and our programs, our members and players receive additional benefits, and our Falcons community has an opportunity to support the people investing in its future.”
Richardson said the people behind the partnership made the announcement especially rewarding.
“Tim and Debbie are fantastic people. They’re approachable, grounded and deeply connected to our community, with a real appreciation for the role a football club can play in a young person’s life,” he said.
“They believe in what we’re building and want to be part of it. That shared belief is a tremendous foundation for a lasting partnership, and we’re delighted to welcome Tim, Debbie and the Auto Masters Joondalup team into the Falcons family.”
West Perth Football Club sincerely thanks Auto Masters Joondalup for its commitment and looks forward to an exciting new chapter for the Auto Masters Joondalup Falcons Nest Academies.
