WEST PERTH PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE
THE WAFL season is quickly closing in and West Perth will be playing pre-season matches against East Fremantle, Perth and Peel Thunder as the Falcons look to have the best preparation possible for 2017.
West Perth is coming off another finals appearance last year on the back of playing in two of the previous three WAFL grand finals, including winning the 2013 premiership.
Now the Falcons are putting everything in place in a bid to be a premiership contender once again in 2017 and a big part of that is the three pre-season matches.
The first hit out takes place on Saturday February 25 against East Fremantle at HBF Arena.
The seniors game will be made up of both clubs being able to use a larger squad for the first hit out of the year and will get underway at 9am on Saturday morning.
The colts contest between the Falcons and Sharks will take place at 6.30pm on the Friday night also at HBF Arena.
Then the following Saturday on March 4 it's back to HBF Arena again with the Falcons to take on Perth.
Again the colts contest will take place on the Friday night at 6pm.
Then the action on Saturday begins with the reserves contest between West Perth and the Demons at 3pm followed by the league battle at 5.45pm.
Then seven days later on Saturday March 11, West Perth makes the trip to Mandurah to take on the reigning premier Peel Thunder at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
It will be a full day of action starting with the colts at 9am, reserves at 11.30am and league at 2.15pm.
West Perth then has the Round 1 bye to start the 2017 WAFL season before hosting East Perth in a Round 2 derby on Sunday March 26 at HBF Arena.
