NATIONAL STORAGE JOINS WEST PERTH AS FEMALE FOOTBALL PARTNER
THE West Perth Football Club is delighted to announce its first dedicated female football partner with National Storage signing on with the Falcons for the next three seasons.
National Storage has signed with the West Perth Football Club in an agreement for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 WA Women's Football League seasons.
The arrangement will see National Storage have their logo on the back of the West Perth female playing jumpers and polo shirts for each of the next three seasons.
For the first time, West Perth has included a female football program into the club and will field teams in the league, reserves and youth competitions in the 2017 WAWFL season.
West Perth is excited with the partnership with National Storage as it increases the faith and investment that companies are placing in female sport across a variety of codes.
With the introduction of the AFL Women's and Suncorp Super Netball competitions in 2017 along with the continued growth of the Women's Big Bash League and female sport overall undertaking unprecedented growth, West Perth is excited to be involved.
National Storage is not only a partner now with the West Perth Football Club but also Giants Netball team in the Suncorp Super Netball competition.
West Perth President Scott Ballem is proud that an organisation with a strong presence right across the country has committed to the Falcons and female football.
"Like the West Perth Football Club, National Storage is a company that has shown tremendous support and vision in relation to women’s sport and the growth of our local Joondalup community," Ballem said.
"We believe this partnership will allow our female football program to set new standards in community service and talent development for women’s football in WA."
National Storage Marketing Coordinator Kate Whittaker is also excited that her company is on board with the West Perth Football Club for the next three years.
"We’re very excited about becoming key partners to the Falcons Women’s squad over the coming three years," Whittaker said.
"National Storage have a long history of supporting AFL teams through sponsorship, the Brisbane Lions and now the Richmond Tigers.
"National Storage provides self-storage solutions to over 35,000 residential and commercial customers at more than 100 storage centres across Australia and New Zealand.
"We also offer business storage, records management, climate controlled wine storage, vehicle storage and a range of vehicle hire and moving supplies.
"As many AFL fans will attest, the launch of the National AFLW League has created a new buzz for the code. National Storage are also enthusiastic to be on board in this new era of women’s sport and want to assist in any way to support its future and growth."
