POSITION VACANT - SENIOR ASSISTANT COACH 2018
THE West Perth Football Club is currently accepting applications for the role of Senior Assistant Coach at the Falcons for the 2018 WAFL season.
The West Perth Football Club prides itself on the development and promotion of young footballers and a continued focus on personal development both on and off the field.
The West Perth Football Club is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for the above position.
As a Senior Assistant within the West Perth Football Club, you will be responsible for the continued development of our senior footballers and acting as a line coach within our league side.
You will be required to work closely with Club’s Head Coach (Bill Monaghan) and other assistants within the senior program. You will also be encouraged to continue to develop all aspects of your coaching in a supportive, developing environment.
Suitable applicants will possess:
- Effective communication skills
- An ability to lead, motivate and influence
- An understanding of talented athlete identification
- The ability to develop individual players within a team environment
- A strong knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies
- An understanding of skill development learning strategies
- Proven experience working within the WAFL/WAAFL or other Australian state leagues
- A current Level 2 Coach Accreditation (or working towards
