West Perth Football Club - AGM 12 December 2018

Dear Members,

In accordance with the West Perth Football Club Constitution, nominations are hereby called for the following positions:

                President

                Six Directors

Nomination forms are available from the West Perth Football Club Office by emailing linda@falconsfc.com.au. Nominations must be made on the prescribed Nomination Form and signed by the Nominee, Proposer and Seconder, all of whom shall be current financial members.

Members should note that pursuant to the terms of its funding agreement with the WAFC, the WPFC is required to obtain the WAFC’s consent to any proposed office bearers. It is an event of default under the funding agreement with the WAFC if an office bearer is appointed without consent from the WAFC, the consequence of which can include that the entirety of the debt owed by the WPFC to the WAFC is immediately due and payable.

Nomination forms must be lodged at the Club Office at 25 Kennedya Drive, Joondalup, or emailed to linda@falconsfc.com.au no later than 5pm, Tuesday 20 November 2018.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

Members are advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the West Perth Football Club Function Centre, 25 Kennedya Drive, Joondalup on Wednesday 12 December 2018, commencing at 7pm. The draft agenda stating the business to be conducted at the meeting is available on the Club’s website and will be circulated as a finalised meeting agenda seven days prior to the AGM.

Members are reminded of Constitution Clauses 72 (1), (2) and (3), which state:

72 (1)    Any ordinary member may give notice of any business which he intends to bring forward at any General Meeting.

72 (2)    Such notice shall be in writing and shall be handed to the General Manager eight days at least before the General Meeting at which it is intended to bring forward such business.

72 (3)    The General Manager shall affix on the Notice Board notice of the intention to bring forward such business seven days at least before the date of the General Meeting.
