Connor West unavailable to return to Falcons for Finals

The West Coast Eagles Medical team have advised West Perth FC that Connor West will not be available to return to the Falcons for the 2021 finals campaign due to an ankle injury he has sustained as well as groin soreness that requires rest and rehabilitation of the next 6-8 week period.

The West Perth FC remain optimistic regarding Connor’s future at West Coast that will enable him to add to his 5 senior appearances in his debut season after he was taken in the 2021 mid-season draft.

General Manager of Football, Steve Trewhella said “It will be business as usual for us this week. Geoff and the entire team are fully focussed on the job at hand as the Club commences its finals campaign this coming Sunday. Whilst it would have been a lift to have Connor available for selection it wasn’t to be, due to a couple of injury concerns. We will be going into Sunday’s game selecting fully fit players and unfortunately Connor isn’t available for us to consider. We wish Connor the best with his recovery and hopefully see him around the Club during the finals”.
