PLAYER WELFARE MANAGER – PERSONAL EXCELLENCE APPOINTMENT IN ZOE CLUNE

Thursday, October 31, 2024 - 2:17 PM

In a coup for the West Perth Football Club, we are pleased to announce the appointment of a Player Welfare Manager to our Female Football Programs for 2025 and beyond.

The incomparable Zoe Clune comes to our football club with a wealth of experience in the Youth Support and Chaplaincy space and comes highly regarded by industry professionals in both the private and sporting sectors.

In what is a fantastic inclusion for our Female Football Programs, our athletes will continue to receive the very best level of support as they make shifts from semi-professional athletes to professionals – With our industry leading Personal Excellence Hub at the forefront of athlete support.

The club welcomes Zoe and her family into the 4 walls of the Falcons and will work closely with our High Performance Mindset Coach (Head of PersonaL Excellence), Travis Fitch, to provide a level of care and support unrivalled by other WAFL/W clubs.

“When speaking with Fitchy (Travis Fitch) about the need for greater support in the wellbeing space for our athletes, we simply could not find anyone more appropriate, warm and professional than Zoe. As we have slowly on-boarded Zoe into our club, we have already seen why she came so highly recommended.

Our goal here is to provide the best environment for our players to perform at the highest level and Zoe’s appointment solidifies this. Our players are expected to perform for our members, fans and broader WAFLW product and community – This helps us do this massively.”
