CHANNEL NINE ANNOUNCES MAJOR SPONSORSHIP WITH WEST PERTH FOOTBALL CLUB
Channel Nine Perth recently announced a major three year sponsorship with 2013 WAFL Premiers, the West Perth Football Club.
Nine’s sponsorship of the Falcons will run from 2014 to 2016 inclusive. The Nine News logo will feature prominently on the front of the playing jumpers of all three grades. Substantial “Nine News” signage at the Club’s home ground at Arena Joondalup, a Channel Nine School Holiday Coaching Clinic and involvement in the Club’s “International Round” are also included in the three year deal.
Nine Perth Managing Director, David Mott (pictured) said Nine was excited to partner with the Falcons for the next three seasons.
“It is a tremendous opportunity to support the West Perth Football Club and bring to life our community involvement through grass-roots football in the northern corridor,” said Mr Mott.
“Our partnership with the Falcons enhances our existing sponsorships with the Joondalup City Council and the Mullaloo and Sorrento Surf Life Saving Clubs in this region. We firmly believe in supporting local Perth communities.”
West Perth Club President, Brett Raponi said “the club is thrilled to attract a blue chip partner of the calibre of Channel Nine.”
“As a football club we are extremely proud of the 2013 season, resulting in our 19th premiership.” said Mr Raponi. I would like to thank Channel Nine for their foresight in investing in the future of the West Perth Football Club and we look forward to building a really strong relationship in the coming years.”
“The club has been working extremely hard to address the uncertain nature of our financial position and the long term corporate partnership with Nine Perth will go a long way to securing the club’s future.”
