HOG'S BREATH CAFÉ LADIES DAY THIS SATURDAY
ONE of the most significant growth areas of the West Perth Football Club in recent years has been the involvement of women in all areas and that is celebrated this Saturday at HBF Arena for Hog's Breath Café Ladies Day when the Falcons take on East Perth.
It is the second consecutive year that West Perth has celebrated Ladies Day with the support of Hog's Breath Café who is the match-day partner.
The West Perth Football Club will also be going pink for the occasion in recognition of the Breast Cancer Network Australia so it would be great to see as many supporters as possible attending HBF Arena to wear something pink.
The Falconettes membership category at the West Perth Football Club has grown again this year from the 11 in 2015 and these pioneering women will again be guests of the club at the president's lunch before the league game.
It is again expected to be one of the best of the season and this year the guest speaker will be club sponsor and prominent Joondalup business woman Debbie Lanario.
All ladies in attendance at the president's luncheon will be treated to a glass of champagne upon arrival and will leave with a goodie bag as they take in the West Perth-East Perth league clash that sees both teams enter the first derby of 2015 with a 3-3 record.
Women are taking on more and more important roles at the West Perth Football Club all the time as well and now Hog's Breath Café Ladies Day is a tremendous way to acknowledge and support the continued encouragement of the involvement of women.
Just some of the women involved with the Falcons in off-field roles include business development manager Erin Capsis, club administrator Diane Watts, football operations administrator Jess Eddy, director Bec Pearce and Djinda Falcons manager Sharon Kenney.
And then those directly involved with the playing group include head trainer Jess Hayes and colts head trainer Tamara Goodman.
