WEST Perth kicks off its 2013 WAFL season with a derby against East Perth at Arena Joondalup this Saturday with the Falcons backing in the strong work over summer to have them raring to go.
The West Perth Football Club is mourning the passing of 1960 Premiership player Eddie Wylde who sadly passed away earlier this week.
A Life Member of the Falcons, Eddie played 200 games and kicked 145 goals. An outstanding footballer, he was runner-up to Merv McIntosh in the 1954 Sandover Medal.
In 1960 he became a Premiership player and also represented WA in State football.

NOT only does Rohan Kerr want to offer plenty on the field to West Perth, but coming off his experience in the AFL with Carlton he wants to provide some leadership to hopefully put the Falcons within premiership contention in 2013.
