THE West Perth Football Club is disappointed to announce that 2003 premiership player Kepler Bradley has accepted a player development role with the Claremont Football Club meaning his agreed upon return to the Falcons will not be happening.
Claremont offered Bradley a full-time position in its football department that he accepted despite being contracted to the Falcons.
The 2003 WAFL premiership player and 117-game AFL veteran with Essendon and Fremantle had signed on to return to his original club West Perth for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. His acceptance of a full-time position at Claremont has changed that.

WEST Perth premiership hero Darren Harris struggled to hold back the tears as he accepted life membership of the club at Wednesday night’s Annual General Meeting.
Harris fell short of the 150 league games required for him to be automatically awarded life membership during his memorable career with the Falcons, which stretched from 1992-1996 and saw him win a premiership medal, a Simpson Medal and a Breckler Medal.
But his successful return to the club as a premiership-winning coach in the early 2000s and his ongoing recruitment and promotional work led premiership team-mate Steve Trewhella to nominate him for life membership this year.

Captaining the 1942 team to a premiership over Claremont capped off a superb debut season for Len Harman. Finishing equal second in the Sandover Medal count, by one vote, this was to be the beginning of a distinguished 12-season, 201 game career at West Perth. Whilst rapidly establishing his reputation in his own right, Len became known as “Jimmy Craig the Second”.
Len went on to play in the flag winning 1949 and 1951 premierships, Read More [+]

THE AFL National Draft for 2014 takes place this Thursday on the Gold Coast with several West Perth players a chance of being picked up.
Unlike last year with Blake Acres and Nick Robertson, there doesn’t appear to be any West Perth players certain of being picked up in the draft and to be on an AFL list in 2015, but there are a host of Falcons players who are being considered.
That includes Sandover Medal winner Aaron Black, dual Breckler Medallist Shane Nelson, premiership star Rohan Kerr, emerging key position player Marcus Adams and teenagers Will Michell, Tyson Moulton and Clinton Hinchcliffe.
