FALCONS CONTINUE DOMINANCE OF DEMONS

KEITEL THRIVING IN WEST PERTH FORWARD-LINE

TYLER Keitel has had two equally outstanding seasons the past two years with West Perth as a defender in 2016 and forward in 2017, but he's happy to have now settled into attack and a premiership with the Falcons is much more his priority than a potential AFL future.
Keitel had a promising junior career and that meant it created quite a stir between the bitterest of WAFL rivals when he wanted to switch from East Perth to West Perth without having yet made his league debut with the Royals.
That meant that he had a slow start to his 2015 season and never really got going, but the improvement and development of the 22-year-old has been rapid since.
ROUND 5 PREVIEW V PERTH

WEST Perth heads to Lathlain Park on Saturday looking to back up a good win over Swan Districts with the Falcons looking to remain undefeated at the venue since 2004 and to win a 14th straight match over the Demons.
Perth remains home at Lathlain Park on Saturday to host West Perth but home turf hasn’t provided much comfort for the Demons in recent times with them only winning one of their past 10 games in front of their loyal, and patient, fans.
It's even worse news up against West Perth but Perth will be looking to put in an improved performance this Saturday against the Falcons.
WAWFL ANZAC Day Game

Last Sunday’s ANZAC game started with a very symbolic moment, as the teams lined up to pay homage to those gallant service men and women who fought so we may have our freedoms of today, the heaviest shower of the day came and went during the playing of the last post.

ANZAC ROUND PREVIEW v SWAN DISTRICTS

WEST Perth will head to Steel Blue Oval to try and get back on the winner's list at the expense of Swan Districts on Saturday in what has now become an annual fixture as part of Anzac Round.
The Falcons have plenty of motivation as they head to Bassendean on Saturday not only to make up for losses the past two weeks to East Perth and South Fremantle, but also for last year's elimination final loss at the same venue against Swan Districts.
Swan Districts and West Perth have played in some of the more remarkable WAFL victories this century and that has included some fascinating Anzac Round contests with the two teams playing to commemorate the occasion now ever since 2013.

ROUND 3 PREVIEW V SOUTH FREMANTLE

WEST Perth returns home to HBF Arena on Sunday trying to return to the WAFL winner's list hosting South Fremantle with league bounce set for 12.45pm.
West Perth started the new season and life in its new facility at HBF Arena in good fashion with a strong Round 1 victory over Claremont to the tune of 18 points.
The Falcons then had every right to head to Leederville Oval last Saturday full of confidence to take on an East Perth team in the derby who had been thrashed on Good Friday by Subiaco by 118 points.
VALE RAY MARINKO

THE West Perth Football Club wishes to offer its condolences to friends and family following the recent passing of life member and 1960 premiership player Ray Marinko.
Marinko passed away earlier this month aged 81 and he will be fondly remembered as an all-time great of the West Perth Football Club whose connection with the club continued long beyond the end of his playing career in 1965.
Growing up the son of former West Perth great Don Marinko Sr, who played 194 matches for the Cardinals between 1926 and 1939 where he was a premiership player in 1932, 1934 and 1935 and captain in the last two of those including a fairest and best winner, it was inevitable that Ray and his brother Don Jr would follow in his footsteps.
